Where the coach picks up in Newcastle

Newcastle departures collect from the Bewick Street bus stop in the city centre — one street back from Central Station, so it works for anyone arriving by Metro, train or bus. Our drivers wait at the stop, tick you off the passenger list and stow luggage or shopping bags before setting off. If you are travelling from the coast or the Tyne Valley, the Whitley Bay and Washington Services stops on the same runs are often quicker than coming into town.

Newcastle timings and getting home

City-centre pickups are usually in the morning at around 08:29, after the earlier Northumberland stops, which means no pre-dawn start. Every trip is a genuine day out: you are back at the same Newcastle stop the same evening, so there is no hotel to book, no motorway driving and no city-centre parking charges at the other end.
